The Blue Lagoon at Abereiddy is an old slate quarry. When the work was finished, it was blasted to join it to the sea, and is now tidal. I timed my visit to coincide with a high evening tide. I could see the potential for a shot of the cloud reflections, but there was a ripple on the surface of the water, destroying them. A four second exposure was enough to turn the surface of the lagoon in to a mirror, but not enough to blur the clouds too much, which I absolutely did not want.
