New Quay is a very popular seaside holiday destination in Ceredigion. Busting in the Summer, with holiday makers, very quiet in the Winter. This image was made from the end of the Quay, shooting very wide (16mm) on my full frame camera, to get it all in. It was shot in March, not long before the clocks went forward. At this time of year the sun sets behind the hill in the background. The sun had already set when I shot this one, giving the lovely golden glow. Given the very low light, the exposure was a long one, and the blurred form of two boys fishing of the quay wall can just about be made out.
